In-Home Personal Consultation:
90 minutes/$125.00
I will come to meet with you, your pet(s) - if you have them yet - and all family members for a 90 minute session. We will discuss your problems/concerns/questions, I will do an in-depth evaluation and assessment of your home set up, scheduling, lifestyle, family dynamics, pet care protocol, supplies, etc. as well as an assessment of any pets currently in the home that may be in question. I will then provide you with my recommendations for moving forward, as well as a resource guide tailored to your specific needs so that you can do further research on your own. This initial session may include some hands-on demonstrations of basic dog training techniques. If you have not yet acquired the pet, I can discuss with you the different options available to you, help you decide if a pet is right for you at this time, if so which type, and then help you determine the best route for obtaining an appropriate new family member for your home, making sure you fully understand all the responsibilities, obligations and joys that will come with pet parenthood, going over all the pros and cons. I will also discuss with you how to find the right kind of help for the care of your pet in the future, including vets, groomers, pet sitters, dog walkers, boarding facilities etc. - BEFORE you spend a ton of money on the wrong ones. When you are done with this session, you WILL know what to expect, and this will help you make the best decision for yourself, your family and any pets you may procure or already have.
Follow-Up In Person Consult/Training Sessions:
60 minutes/$50.00
If necessary, I can provide on-going back up to get you through the rough patches and to ensure that you are on the right track. In these follow up sessions, I will do another assessment, we will re-visit the progress you & the pet have (or haven't) made since the intital consultation, discuss the best way to proceed forward, or possibly take things in a different, more effective direction. Working closely with you as the pet's parent, I will pursue the ultimate goal of harmonious, safe and happy co-existence in the home for all involved.
Group Consultations - "ASK THE PET SITTER":
2 Hours/$50.00 per person
(max limit of 15 persons per session, minimum of 5 - no dogs please, this is not a group dog-training class)
If you have a group of friends, neighbors or family members who would be interested in participating in a group-style discussion/question & answer session, I am able to come and speak to them, provide information and answer questions relating to pet care, dog training, etc. I may ask participants to pre-submit questions or concerns via email ahead of time to ensure that I can bring them the best possible answers & solutions.
In the near future, I will be set up to do consultations via telephone, email and live online chat for those clients too far away for me to assist in person. Please check back or email me for more info.
